The main areas of knowledge covered by the master’s degree are:

  • Modelling Mathematics and Statistics, which provide conceptual and computational tools for understanding and solving complex decision making.
  • Decision making modeling via operational research tools.
  • Information Technology, which will facilitate the implementation of the above tools in a computing environment.

It thus provides training in three major areas:

  • Internet-related technological tools, databases and artificial intelligence.
  • Tools for modeling and decision making, and simulation, optimization, data mining, quality management, risk analysis and management.
  • Top management tools, such as leadership, negotiation analysis, production management, financial analysis, etc.


  • Computer engineers or industrial (technical and Institutions)
  • Industrial Organization, Industrial Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering
  • Graduates in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration and Management
  • Diploma in Statistics.
  • In general, Diploma, Engineers, Graduates and Higher Engineers by national and foreign universities.


  • Advanced consulting as to launch consulting firms, requiring innovative solutions.
  • Consulting advanced data analysis, data mining and business intelligence.

The Master develops skills for training  top professionals, able to solve complex decision making and lead teams in the information society and knowledge, in order to improve the organizations in which they are involved.
